Smart Traffic SEO Tip #65 – Google Adds Video Sitemap Errors in Webmaster Tools
Google has added a new report named “Video Sitemaps” to the Webmaster Tools under the Labs Section. This includes errors specific to video sitemap files.
Why does Google separate Video Sitemaps from “Sitemaps” under Site Configuration?
(i)Maybe because video sitemaps becomes more important to Google,
(ii)Maybe it displays something different compared to the usual Sitemap section under Site Configuration
(iii)Or maybe the report is new that’s why it’s still under labs section.
Only Google knows why but as time goes by, we will all benefit with this new feature in GWT.
