Google Wave
In-charge of organising and planning of a specific activity involving groups of people? This is easy since people now have mobile phones but how can you track each conversation and replies with your phones? You could probably try Facebook for your conversation but can you add images or videos while having your conversations?
Google is launching a new application helpful for this scenario, Google Wave. It is the new web application for real-time communication and collaboration where you can work and discuss together in real-time with your group, whether it be about meeting agendas or brainstorming.
Google wave is divided into three panes: contacts and navigation on the left, a browsable list of all your “waves” in the middle, and the actual wave you’re involved in on the right. Please see image below:
Creating a new wave is easy, just click on the “New Wave” located in the middle pane as seen above and begin inviting participants by clicking the “+” box at the right pane, search for their names or just by dragging them from the contacts portion . Can you see now the purpose? The tool is actually designed to help you work with groups of people. And the good thing here is, everyone can edit and reply all at the same time. So why not try it? Don’t know how to start? Sign in to your Google/Gmail account and head directly to “wave.google.com”. Now start browsing and enjoy waving!
