Smart Traffic SEO Tip #50 – Multiple types in one sitemap
Google previously announced that Sitemap can include images and videos. Recently announced another advancement for sitemaps, it is now capable of containing multiple content types in a form of a standard sitemap.
Multiple content types include videos, images, mobile URLs, code or geo information which can now be accommodated in one Sitemap. Now you can submit one sitemap with all the information you have in your site.
The same “sitemap rules” still apply, like 50,000 maximum URLs in one file and 10MB uncompressed file size limit.
