Smart Traffic SEO Tip #40 – Search Queries in Google Webmaster Tools
Google have been making some recent updates to their Webmaster Tools. Known before as “Top Search Queries”, Google has shortened it to “Seach Queries” but added some new features.
The improvements in the new version includes additional features like:
•”Average position” – provides a quick look on your site position in search result for specific queries.
• “Displaying” number for Impressions and Clicks – displays the total count of data in the table. Also the number in bold that represents the total count of queries including those that are not displayed in the Search Queries table.
•”Starred” tab – provides an easy way to access your selected queries that you want to keep track.
