The Effect of Google Instant in Site’s “Impressions”

First to know, what is Impressions? It is the number of times your web pages were viewed in search results. In Google Instant, since your site will appear in search results when a users type a keyword, there’s also an increase in your site’s Impressions.

With Google Instant, Impressions are measured in these ways:

1. When your site is displayed in search results in response to the following:

• As for the old search result, this is when a user completed its query after pressing “enter” or clicking the search button.
• With Google Instant, when the user stops typing and results were displayed in a minimum of 3 seconds also counts.

2. When users begin typing a term on Google search and clicks on a link on the page.
